Dear friends and supporters:

I co-founded Overnight Projects in the fall of 2015. In just under three years we have organized eight exhibitions, three film screenings, three performances, and an art book fair in collaboration with Flatlander Press. All of these events, - some of which have involved artists traveling internationally - have been made possible with no operating budget and through the hard work of volunteers. Everyone involved with Overnight Projects donates their time and energy to making things that would not otherwise exist. We work tirelessly to create experiences for the community and to support artists, giving them all funds raised.

With exhibitions in non-traditional spaces - an empty storefront, a de-commissioned coal plant, an orphanage, a deserted lake-side motel - we are able to reach a broad audience. Those curious about an otherwise inaccessible space can attend an Overnight Projects event for a totally unexpected art experience, making new connections to people and place within a community that can sometimes feel insular.

If you support this mission and have enjoyed coming to our events over the years, please consider helping us continue our efforts. We cannot keep going without the support of our community, our friends, and those who believe in the work we do. All funds raised now through August will go toward artist stipends for our upcoming group exhibition at the Sandbar Inn in South Hero, Vermont, as well as to organizational growth. Please consider donating now. To express our gratitude, we will thank you publicly on our social media channels and, most importantly, be able to share further programming with you in the future.

Sincerely, and with excitement for the future,

Abbey Meaker
